Our Story
IN 2024, the venue we worked at closed for repairs with a vague assurance that the weddings booked in 2025 would not be impacted. To keep things running smoothly, giving our couples the planning and design experience they expected from the all-inclusive venue, we set up a design studio in Port Aransas at our own expense and began scouting alternative locations for our couples, just in case. As 2026 approaches the venue remains vacant
During this time nocturne42 was concepted. We built new relationships with likeminded individuals and explored unique win-win opportunities that are sure to keep the local wedding market on their toes.

When aurora agreed to join nocturne, WE knew that our leadership team was finally complete. we are fully confident that we will be the leading beach planning and design team in Port Aransas by the end of 2026.
Kristi, owner
Well, known for her creativity she is bursting with ideas! After a 20-year career in corporate law she's given up the 32-floor office and (gently) set aside her Louboutin's for sandy toes, sunny days and creating joyous moments.
Aurora, producer
As an actress with countless hours on movie sets, she takes the vision and transforms it into a well-crafted love story. She is well connected, resourceful and passionate in all that she does. Making wedding "movies" is a nice break from the more serious roles she usually plays.
Josh, manager
With over 30 years in event management, he oversees the event staff and handles the logistics to ensure everything runs smoothly. He is an accomplished chef and artist who enjoys woodworking with style.
Chris, photography partner

Hector, lead bontender
A lot of our couples enjoy beachside bonfire dining as part of their weekend celebration. For Hector it's not just a hole in the sand with fire. There is an art to it, and you will see that in the detail from how he shapes the sand, incorporates natural elements to include carved pawn frawn masks.
