We found out from a cake designer that our wedding venue had closed, which left us upset and repeatedly calling with no answer. Then Kristi and Josh reached out to explain they’d only been told the venue was under construction, and they stuck by us, making contingency plans at their own expense until it became clear the closure was indefinite. Since we never met the property owners, Kristi and Josh took all the heat. They could have walked away, but they refused to leave their couples stranded. It was definitely a “no good deed goes unpunished” kind of situation, so I’m thrilled to see their recent success.
